Scott Price joined UPS and the Management Committee as Chief Strategy and Transformation Officer (CSTO) in December 2017. As CSTO, he helps UPS look critically and introspectively at our business to help quickly identify opportunities for change and innovation. Scott also has responsibility for Global Business Services, Mergers & Acquisitions and Advanced Technology.
Scott has nearly 30 years of experience with a proven track record of driving innovation and change at major companies around the world. He has spent the majority of his career in the Asia Pacific region and Europe directing multi-national corporations to increase productivity and profitability. Through his leadership, these organizations have been able to implement operational change, including major I.T. transformation initiatives.
In his previous positions, he developed a comprehensive network strategy for a global logistics company first in Asia and then Europe. He led the creation of a strategic plan for the Asia Pacific region designed to position the business for strong, long term growth and profitability maximization. In his most recent position at Walmart, Scott moved back to the United States with a shift of his role to more global sourcing, technology, and international logistics.
Scott serves as chairman of the National Center for Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation, the only U.S. business association focused exclusively on facilitating American private sector input to the APEC process and APEC’s 21 member countries. He is also one of three ABAC (APEC Business Advisory Council) members appointed by the White House in December 2016.
